My weekend in Mumbai

I had one of the most wonderful weekend this week in Mumbai. Its fun to be in Mumbai with friends. But this time round there was a new visitor too. The rain, coming from Delhi, the heat had me in and I was in a dire need for something as refreshing and cool as rain and thats what I got in Mumbai.
Walking on sea beach, going to Colaba, are something that I am used to doing in Mumbai. But this time round I was more on an official visit and thats why I got to do this that I have not done. I went to places that I had not been to. It started with Lokhandwala. Now this is a place that I always thought to be a shabby li’l place with all those SEC C people and lo! I was in for a shock. I don’t know where this thing came into my mind but now I know that the myth is busted.
I had some really memorable moments: Walking from Colaba to CST, Taking a local train all alone, doing FW and visiting people in door-to-door interviews. Meeting a Lech who constantly ogled at the EIC. Meeting the most talkative girl I have ever seen in my life and if she is reading then she definitely gonna kill me.
All in all it was rejuvenating and refreshing for me. The rain, the people and the time in Mumbai was something that would keep me going for a long time.
And the usuals: Swati, Santanu and Vishal were their usual selfs. Swati and Santanu being busy in their exams, I had to wait till Sunday evening till we could do with something remotely close to partying, which we did atlast but I think that was really late. We had dinner at Vihangs and then watched movie, roamed around on the streets and reached airport at 2-30 so that I could check in before the flight departs...
